THE PARK RESIDENCY APPROVAL PROCESS

 

Qualifying for residency approval with the Community Owners/Management is a relatively simple process. Once we have an accepted purchase offer on your dream home it is necessary to obtain a Park Resident Application from the Community Management.

Each community whether it is a 55 plus or all ages community have their own specific requirements in completing the Park Application. Most always each community has Pet restrictions. Of chief importance, Management needs to be certain that you have a sustainable income to pay the monthly "space rent."

The following is a list of documents that Management requires to accompany your Park Resident Application:

  • Color copy of your Driver's License and Social Security Card

  • 2 Months most recent (Current) Bank Statements

  • Proof of Social Security Income (if applicable) Social Security Benefits Statement

  • Proof of Income 

  • Proof of Employment (if applicable) include 2 months recent Pay Stubs

  • Tax Returns for 2016 and 2017

The approval process can take from 2 days up to 2 weeks to obtain a reply.

A common question is: If I do not get approved for residency what happens to the earnest money deposit that I deposited with my Purchase Offer?) . Your deposit will automatically be returned to you.
